VARR is leading the way with comprehensive, compassionate treatment avenues. According to the National Center for Health statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, there were more than 72,000 overdose deaths in the U.S. in 2017 alone. Together, we truly believe we can slash away at this startling statistic.
ReEstablish Richmond connects refugees and immigrants to life-building tools and resources to help make Virginia a vibrant and positive home, inspiring our communities with fresh perspectives and new creative energies. Both drivers education and literacy classes are hosted at WPC in-concert with additional efforts through resettlement agencies, government services, other faith communities and amazing volunteers.
Stewarded by Pastor Humphrey Muraya, All Nations is WPC's sister congregation, has seen a 30 percent uptick in active attendance as well as a steady influx of new members.
All Nations needed a stable space for its congregation to thrive, and WPC Richmond gladly invited the congregation to worship in the same building. Over the years, these two congregations have blended and formed meaningful friendships. Whether it’s a WPC member attending an All Nations service event—or an All Nations member joining WPC’s praise band and joining forces for bible studies—we’re living out a partnership that extends beyond Sundays.
