RICHMOND BIG BAND CHRISTMAS FOR THE BENEFIT OF IMAGO DEI
December 13. Two shows at 3 pm and 7 pm, in the sanctuary at WPC. Acclaimed Richmond musicians will perform sacred Christmas songs in the genre of big band jazz. Called "one of the highlights of the season" by Style Weekly, this delightful Richmond holiday tradition is not to be missed!
Led by VCU Jazz Studies director Dr. Taylor Barnett, the band includes vocalists Laura Ann Singh and Rudy Faulkner, and some of the city's best instrumentalists from bands such as Butcher Brown, No BS! Brass, Michael Hawkins and the Brotherhood, and Weekend Plans.
This concert series has sold out the Byrd and VMFA over the past five seasons; to be sure many of us can attend, Imago Dei secured twenty discount codes for WPC members. Please use promo code WPC when you check out for.
